Akihiro Sakata is a Japanese voice actor born on July 30, 1979, in Tokyo, Japan. He began his voice acting career in 2013. Sakata was initially affiliated with the agency Miki Production, remaining with them from 2013 until March 2021. In July 2021, he joined Mausu Promotion.

Sakata provides the voice for the character Gamma in the anime television series Battle Athletes Victory ReSTART!. This series is a reboot of the Battle Athletes franchise and aired from April to June 2021. Gamma is a competitor who trains alongside athletes from various planets to win the title of Cosmic Beauty. Additional anime voice roles for Sakata include Drove in Blade Runner: Black Lotus and a role in Getter Robo Arc.
