Description
Rerulili, also known by the alias ToushahiP, is a Japanese music producer, songwriter, and multimedia creator. His real name is Kouhei Sasaki. Born on September 26, he began his career as a creator in 2009, initially gaining prominence within the Vocaloid music community on platforms like Niconico, where he produced original songs using voice synthesizers such as Hatsune Miku, GUMI, and Megurine Luka. He is based in Tokyo.

Rerulili's work extends significantly beyond music production into the realm of anime, manga, and light novels. He is the originator of several mixed-media projects that began as Vocaloid songs and were subsequently adapted into other formats. His most notable contribution as an original creator is the franchise Outburst Dreamer Boys, known in Japanese as Chūbyō Gekihatsu Boy. This project started as a Vocaloid song series by Rerulili and grew into a larger multimedia property. He co-wrote the light novel adaptation with Minato Tonami, which was published by Kadokawa Shoten under their Kadokawa Beans Bunko imprint beginning in 2016. A manga adaptation illustrated by Megumi Hazuki was serialized in Shueisha's Ribon Special magazine in 2016. The franchise culminated in an eleven-episode anime television series adaptation that aired from October to December 2019, produced by Studio Deen. For the anime, Rerulili is officially credited as the original creator based on his Vocaloid song.

Beyond Outburst Dreamer Boys, other works by Rerulili have seen similar cross-media expansion. His well-known song Brain Fluid Explosion Girl served as the basis for a novelization and a live-action film adaptation. Another song, Hellish Human Zoo, which he策划 and featured multiple producers, also received a manga adaptation. The Kotonoha Project, a collaboration series, was adapted into a light novel.

The artistic identity of Rerulili is characterized by a specific pattern of transmedia storytelling, where a single song serves as the nucleus for a larger narrative franchise expanded through novels, manga, and anime. His musical composition style is rooted in Japanese pop music, characterized by melodic structures while incorporating elements of rock, jazz, funk, and blues. Lyrically, some of his most prominent songs feature intense or provocative themes. He often collaborates with the illustrator Ichinose Yukino for his album artwork and music video illustrations.

Rerulili holds significance in the anime and manga industry as a pioneering figure in the Vocaloid-to-anime pipeline. He is a primary example of a "Vocaloid producer" or "P" successfully transitioning from an online music creator to a key originator in traditional publishing and broadcasting. His work demonstrates a model where user-generated online content is formally adapted into mainstream media, with Outburst Dreamer Boys representing a landmark case of a Vocaloid song series receiving a full television anime adaptation. He is affiliated with Kitty Corporation and continues to be an active creator.
