Roland Timsit is a French actor, voice actor, and dialogue director born on May 29, 1958. In addition to his extensive work in dubbing, he is also a theater actor and a clown who performs under the name Chapo.

Timsit has provided French voices for a wide range of animated series and films. One of his notable early voice roles in animation is Dick in the series Little Lord Fauntleroy. He is particularly known for his work on American animated series dubbed into French. During the first four seasons of The Simpsons, he was the voice of several iconic characters, including Moe Szyslak, Lenny Leonard, Groundskeeper Willie, and Professor John Frink. His voice work also includes the role of Green Arrow in Justice League and Jar Jar Binks in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series. He voiced Capitaine USA in Dexter's Laboratory, Jay Sherman in The Critic, and Gringo in the film Thumbelina.

Beyond performing, Roland Timsit has served as a dialogue director for several French dubs of animated productions, including The Animatrix, the series Gargoyles, The Tiny Toons, Samurai Jack, and the film Antz. His film voice credits include Larry in The Wild and Abribus in Asterix and the Vikings.
