Yann Le Madic is a French actor and dubbing director who has worked extensively in the field of voice localization for over two decades. Born on June 21, 1970, he is recognized for lending his voice to a wide array of characters in animated series and films, as well as for his work on live-action television shows and movies. Beyond performing, he is also a dubbing director and has been the head of the company VF Productions since 2015, which specializes in voice-over work for French adaptations.

In the world of anime, Le Madic has brought several notable characters to French audiences. One of his most significant roles is providing the French voice for Ketil, the complex and morally ambiguous farm owner, in the historical drama series Vinland Saga. He is also known as the voice of Kei Yuzuki in the classic horror anime series Vampire Princess Miyu, particularly in the original video animation episodes released in the late 1980s. His film work includes taking on the iconic role of the titular character in a French dub of Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro, where the character was renamed Wolf. In the series Angel Heart, he voiced Xin-Hong Liu, a former assassin and a regular at the Cat's Eye coffee shop who has feelings for the female lead, Xiang Ying.

His career in animation extends to a variety of other French-language productions. He has voiced characters in films such as Ernest & Celestine, where he played the role of Ernest's lawyer, a rat. Other animated film credits include L'île de Black Mór, playing La Rouille, and Les enfants de la pluie, voicing the younger version of the character Akkar. In television, he is widely recognized for major roles in non-anime series, including providing the French voice for Stewie Griffin in the adult animated sitcom Family Guy, known in France as Les Griffin, and for the character Jérémy in Foot 2 rue. His prolific voice work also encompasses numerous other popular series like Futurama, Ed, Edd n Eddy, and The Magic School Bus, where he voiced Carlos.

Throughout his extensive career, Le Madic has become a familiar voice for French audiences, often dubbing the same actors across multiple projects. He has been the recurring French voice for actors such as Devon Gummersall, Alec Mapa, and Harry Shum Jr. His directorial role at VF Productions has also made him a key figure in the French localization industry, overseeing the dubbing for many films and television series. His ability to perform a wide range of characters, from the villainous Wolf in Lupin III, to the comedic Stewie Griffin, and the dramatic Ketil in Vinland Saga, demonstrates his versatility and lasting contribution to the world of French voice acting.
