Yō Kitazawa is a Japanese actor and voice actor born on July 9, 1963, in Warabi, Saitama, Japan. His career in the anime industry spans several decades, beginning in the mid-1990s with one of his early notable roles being Kira Kongo in the 1995 series Jū Senshi Garukiba, also known as Wild Knights Gulkeeva. He also voiced the character Kejinan Datto (sometimes credited as Kejinan Todd) in the mecha anime series Overman King Gainer, which aired from 2002 to 2003. In the long-running children's franchise Kaiketsu Zorori, Kitazawa has contributed to the series Motto! Majime ni Fumajime Kaiketsu Zorori, where he voices the characters Em and Fennec.

Beyond these roles, Kitazawa has portrayed a variety of characters across different genres. His other anime credits include Rim-eyes in Mars Daybreak, Forrest in Blood+ and its film sequel Blood+ Final Piece, and Mariel's father in Pumpkin Scissors. In the popular superhero series My Hero Academia, he voices Higari Maijima, also known as the Power Loader, the support course teacher at U.A. High School. He also voiced Wall Eehto in the long-running series Fairy Tail.
