Marine André
Description
Marine André is a French voice actress, singer, and multidisciplinary performer who has worked extensively in animation and manga dubbing. Her formal training includes a Master's degree in Musical Theatre from the Royal Academy of Music in London, as well as studies in drama at the Cours Florent, musical theatre at the Académie Internationale de Comédie Musicale, and lyric art at the Conservatoire d'Asnières. This classical and contemporary stage background has informed her approach to voice work, particularly in sung dubbing for animated productions.
Her most prominent anime voice role to date is Epsilon in the Japanese manga adaptation The Eminence in Shadow. She performed this character for both the first season and the second season of the series, working under the voice direction of Estelle Dehon in 2023 and 2024. Beyond this signature role, her dubbing portfolio includes a variety of French-language voice work for international productions. For example, she provided the French voice for Ali Stroker in the Nickelodeon film Blue's Big City Adventure and contributed small roles and sung choir parts to The Patrick Star Show, both under director Edwige Chandelier. Her live-action dubbing credits include the role of Nihan (played by Merve Hazer) in the Netflix Turkish series Les ailes de l'ambition, directed by Anne Mathot, as well as roles for the BBC Studios series This Is Going to Hurt and the Universal series La Bréa.
In addition to voice acting, Marine André is a stage performer with an extensive career in French and international theatre, operetta, and musical theatre, including productions such as Carmen Rock Opera directed by Alexis Michalik and Anne, le musical. She is also active as an author and screenwriter, notably creating the bilingual children's podcast Ma Maison Magique - My home of wonders and writing several youth-oriented stage shows. Her bilingual abilities are further applied to translation and adaptation work, particularly for preschool content on YouTube channels such as Little Baby Bum.
