Kippei Shiina is a Japanese actor whose work includes voice acting for anime and dubbed foreign films. Born Masayoshi Iwaki on July 14, 1964, in Iga, Mie Prefecture, he initially pursued soccer before turning to acting in his early twenties. After graduating from Aoyama Gakuin University, he began his career on stage and in films, eventually building a diverse career in live-action cinema and television before expanding into voice work.

Shiina is well known for his role as Tadaomi Karasuma in the Assassination Classroom franchise, voicing the character in both the 2015 film Assassination Classroom and its 2016 sequel Assassination Classroom: Graduation. He also portrayed Tenzen Yakushiji in the 2005 film SHINOBI - Heart Under Blade, a role for which he provided the original Japanese voice. His voice acting credits extend to dubbed international productions; he made his debut in voice dubbing with the 2012 film Snow White and the Huntsman, providing the Japanese voice for Chris Hemsworth's character, the Huntsman. Additional voice roles include Zen-san in the series Red Shadow: Akakage.

Beyond voice work, Shiina is an accomplished live-action actor. He has starred in numerous critically acclaimed films and television series, including the medical drama Code Blue, the crime film Outrage directed by Takeshi Kitano, and the mystery series SPEC. His performance in the 1999 film Financial Conquest: The Spell earned him multiple awards, including the Japanese Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. Shiina has continued his career as a producer and director, and he remains active in the Japanese entertainment industry, represented by the agency Stardust Promotion.
