Mao Ichimichi, also known professionally as M·A·O, is a Japanese voice actress and actress born on February 1, 1992, in Osaka Prefecture. Her career began in live-action tokusatsu productions, most notably her breakout role as Luka Millfy, the Gokai Yellow Ranger, in the 2011 Super Sentai series Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger. This on-screen performance established her as a prominent figure in the genre before she transitioned to a successful career in voice acting.

Ichimichi began focusing on voice work under the stage name M·A·O in 2012, with her first anime role as Kirara in the series Cookin' Idol Ai! Mai! Main!. As a voice actress, she has since taken on a wide variety of roles in numerous popular anime series. She is known for voicing Hikari Yagami in the Digimon Adventure tri. film series and Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna. Other major anime roles include Kurumi in The Brynhildr in the Darkness, Shion in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, and Tōka in Alice & Zouroku. Her extensive filmography also features parts in acclaimed series such as Overlord, The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls, School-Live!, Fire Force, Welcome to the Demon School! Iruma-kun, and BNA: Brand New Animal.

In a unique bridge between her live-action and voice careers, she has contributed to several other tokusatsu productions as a voice actress. These roles include Raptor 283 (Washi Pink) in Uchu Sentai Kyuranger, Pasco in the Ressha Sentai ToQger film, Marluru in Ultraman Trigger: New Generation Tiga, and Ai-chan in Kamen Rider Zero-One.
