Sakura Kiryū is a Japanese actress, voice actress, and singer born on April 22, 2004, in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. Her career began when she won the Grand Prix at the 41st Horipro Talent Scout Caravan, known as PURE GIRL 2016, at the age of twelve, making her the youngest winner in the contest's history. Following this achievement, she joined the talent agency Horipro. Her professional breakthrough came in 2017 when she was cast in the title role of the Japanese stage musical Peter Pan, becoming the youngest actor to ever portray the character in the country's production history.

In the field of voice acting, Kiryū is known for two prominent roles in major anime films. In 2019, she voiced Nagisa Amano, the younger brother of the female lead, in Makoto Shinkai's feature Weathering With You. In 2022, she provided the voice for Akiko "Aki" Inoue, one of the central characters in the animated film Lonely Castle in the Mirror.
