His professional experience encompasses a wide range of voice work, including anime series, platform video games, visual novels, and audio dramas.

Barcenas has taken on several notable anime roles in English dub productions. He is known for his recurring work within the long-running The Prince of Tennis franchise. Across multiple series, he voices the character Jūjirō Oni, also credited as Jujiro Oni, including in The Prince of Tennis II, The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup, and The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup Semifinal. He also provided the voice of Masashi Arai in an earlier English dub of The Prince of Tennis.

Beyond sports anime, his role list includes Sōshi Sazanami in the series Offering My Virginity to a Gangster and Kazuma Kokuryu in Trillion Game.
