Miona Kogawa

Description
Miona Kogawa is a Japanese voice actress who was born on December 14th and hails from Aomori Prefecture. Her career path to voice acting is notably unconventional, as she previously worked as a police officer in the Aomori Prefectural Police force before deciding to pursue a new profession. She later enrolled in the voice acting course at Digital Arts Sendai, a vocational school. During her time as a student, she participated in the commemorative drama for the Sendai Subway Tozai Line titled We are The champions!!! and also appeared in the game MONOTO-SITUATION.

After completing her studies, Kogawa joined the talent agency Production Ace. In April 2019, she became a member of an eight-person sister unit named Love Bomb, which is part of the Ani Yume project. Her early career also involved working as an official cosplayer at the Fantasia Bunko Grand Thanksgiving Festival in 2019.

Kogawa has taken on a variety of voice roles in anime, games, and other media. She is known for her work in the Kantai Collection franchise, providing the voice for the ship girl Kurahashi in the anime series Kan Colle Season 2: Let's Meet at Sea, which is also known as Kantai Collection: Itsuka Ano Umi de. She also voices another ship girl from the same series named Hayashio. In the Date A Live franchise, she portrayed Hana Sakuragi, appearing in Date A Live IV and the video game Date A Live Ren Dystopia. Her other animation role includes a student in the second season of By the Grace of the Gods. Outside of television anime, she played the role of Hotaru Yamashina in Cheer Bu! and Ruri Anraku in Onmuro Musume. Her listed interests include playing mobile shooting games and traveling to unfamiliar places, while her noted skills are scenery sketching, dancing, and speaking the Tsugaru dialect of her native Aomori.
