Suzuka Ohgo was born on August 5, 1993, in Yokohama, Japan. She began her acting career in 2000 at the age of seven, joining the Sunflower theatrical company and making her stage debut at the Meiji-za in Story of a National Thief. While she is primarily known as a live-action actress, including her award-winning role as young Chiyo in the 2005 film Memoirs of a Geisha, Ohgo has also contributed to the field of anime voice acting.

Her most prominent voice role came in 2008 when she began lending her voice to anime for the first time in the series Michiko & Hatchin. In this production, she played the character Hana Morenos, a young, resilient girl who is nicknamed Hatchin. The series follows Hatchin as she is rescued from an abusive foster family by the escaped convict Michiko and embarks on a journey across a fictionalized version of Brazil to find her father.

Beyond her voice work in anime, Ohgo has also performed roles in animated video games. She provided the voice for the character Kaita in the 2009 puzzle adventure game Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box. Her broader acting career includes a range of notable live-action roles. She played the young Kumiko Yamaguchi in the television series Gokusen (2002) and portrayed Niko Hayashi, a middle school student with voice-mimicking abilities, in the 2007 live-action drama Sexy Voice and Robo. Her film credits also include the role of Sayaka in the 2009 action feature Kamui Gaiden.

Throughout her career, Ohgo has received critical recognition for her performances, including winning the Japan Film Critics Award for Best Newcomer in 2005. She was also awarded the Prize for Best Supporting Actress at the 53rd Television Drama Academy Awards for her role in Sexy Voice and Robo. She was associated with the talent agency CATARMAN until 2013.
