Danna Alcalá is a Mexican voice actor, singer, and commercial announcer known for her work in Spanish-language dubbing for anime series. She has been active in the entertainment industry since childhood, beginning her artistic training at the age of seven. Her professional preparation includes studies at the Centro de Educación Artística infantil of Televisa, as well as additional training in musical theater, acting, dance, voice and diction, and dubbing at Voz Genius, where she studied under teachers Toni Rodríguez and Elsa Covián. In addition to her voice work, she also performs as a singer for opening and ending themes for animated series.

Alcalá has voiced several characters in anime productions. She is known for the role of Teru Momijiyama, also known as SHY, in the series Shy. She plays the character Tamaki Kawazoe in the anime Bamboo Blade. In the romantic comedy series You and I Are Polar Opposites, she provides the voice for Miyu Suzuki, an energetic high school student who is attracted to a quiet and straightforward classmate. Another notable role is Viola in The Duke of Death and His Maid, a series about a young duke cursed to kill anything he touches and his devoted maid.

Beyond these prominent roles, her broader voice acting portfolio includes characters such as Hailey Banks in Hailey Is On It, Hilda in Hilda and the Mountain King, Liv Baker in Ghostforce, Pretzel in Bluey, and Bree Young in Inside Out 2. She has also worked as a commercial voice actor for campaigns in Mexico, Latin America, the United States, and the United Kingdom, with clients including LEGO, Nike, Kellogg’s, Mattel, and Amazon. She is bilingual in Spanish and English.

In recognition of her work, Danna Alcalá received the Premio Bravo award in the category of Best Cartoon Dubbing Actress in 2023.
