Yūichi Ishigami, also known as Yuuichi Ishigami, is a Japanese male voice actor born on July 29, 1977, in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. He is affiliated with the talent agency Mausu Promotion. Ishigami graduated from the Japan Narration Acting Institute and the Video Technology Academy before joining Mausu Promotion in 2005.
Ishigami began his voice acting career in 2005. His early roles include Hamaguchi Ren in the television anime Eyeshield 21 and an operator in Eureka Seven. In 2006, he voiced the character Iwan in the anime series Wan Wan Celeb Soreyuke! Tetsunoshin. Iwan is a ten-year-old Siberian Husky and a member of the Hills Dogs, known as the group's strongman.
Throughout his career, Ishigami has taken on a wide range of supporting roles in numerous anime series. In 2007, he appeared in productions such as CLANNAD, Bamboo Blade, and Sky Girls. The following year, he continued with roles in Major, Kyo kara Maoh!, and Golgo 13. In 2009, he voiced one of the Miyo Trio in Sengoku Basara. He has also contributed to major film franchises, providing voice work for the 2007 film Naruto Shippuden the Movie and the 2008 film Major: Yujo no Ikkyu.
Ishigami's career includes a recurring role in the science fiction series Knights of Sidonia, appearing in both the 2014 television anime and its 2015 theatrical compilation.
