Megumi Yamato

Megumi Yamato is a Japanese voice actress born on August 1, 1981, in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. Her career in anime voice acting became active in the mid-2000s, with one of her early notable roles being the character Ageha E in the acclaimed mecha series Eureka Seven, which ran from 2005 to 2006.

Yamato is perhaps best known for her role as Koji Imai in the comedy anime Kyo no Gononi, also known as Kyou no Go no Ni. She voiced this character in both the 2008 television series and the 2009 original animation DVD titled Kyou no Go no Ni: Takarabako. The series, which centers on the everyday lives and humorous misunderstandings of a group of fifth-grade students, featured Yamato as part of a consistent ensemble cast.

Her other voice credits include the role of Hisui Kisaragi as a child in the action-horror series Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpucho. She also provided the voice for a child character in the long-running series Naruto: Shippuden and performed additional voices for the feature film Lupin the Third: The Elusive Mist. Yamato contributed to the Sore Ike! Anpanman franchise as well.
