Carmel McGlone is a New Zealand actor and voice artist based in Wellington with a career spanning more than four decades across stage, television, film, and voice work. She has developed a reputation for her warm, rich vocal quality and her ability to perform a wide array of character voices for animation and gaming.

McGlone began her acting career after initially studying music, with her early theatre work including portraying historical figures such as Cleopatra and Marilyn Monroe. Her on-screen career gained momentum in the late 1980s with a six-month role on the television series Marching Girls, for which she received an acting award nomination.
