Ryō Katō, born February 13, 1990, in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, is a Japanese actor and entertainer whose career has included voice acting for anime and animated projects. He began his entertainment career at the age of ten, making his debut in 2000 on the variety show Appare Sanma Dai Sensei. He later graduated from the Department of Moving Images and Performing Arts in the Faculty of Art and Communication at Tama Art University and is represented by the agency Cube.
Katō is known for his extensive work in live-action film and television, but he has taken on several roles as a voice actor. One of his earliest and most recognized roles was the character Toshihiko Negishi in the 2008 live-action film adaptation of the manga and anime series Detroit Metal City.
