Mario Filio is the artistic name of Mario Gómez Herrera, a Mexican actor and locutor specializing in dubbing. He was born on March 12, 1966, in Mexico City. He began his professional career in 1982 and received his certification as a locutor in 1984. His entry into the world of dubbing came through an invitation from his brother to audition at Telespeciales, a dubbing studio. He holds a degree in advertising and is a member of several professional organizations, including the Asociación Nacional de Actores (ANDA) and the SAG-AFTRA union.
Filio is recognized for a wide array of iconic voice roles in Latin American Spanish. He is the official voice of the Disney character Goofy since 2002.
