Ashleigh Ball is a Canadian voice actress and musician known for her extensive work in animation, including a number of English-language dubs of Japanese anime series. Born on March 31, 1983, in Vancouver, British Columbia, she has been active in the voice acting industry since the early 2000s.

Ball has voiced characters in several notable anime productions. In the English dub of the music-centric drama NANA, she provided the voice of Reira Serizawa, the lead singer of the fictional band Trapnest. She also played the role of Shiori Akino in the Death Note anime series. Shiori is a classmate and childhood friend of the protagonist Light Yagami, a character who appears in a key story arc. Her other anime voice credits include the role of Sanri Wakana in the science fiction series Starship Operators.

Beyond these roles, Ball has contributed to other anime dubs, including a part in the supernatural action series Shakugan no Shana as Yukari Hirai, and in the crime-action series Black Lagoon, where she voiced the characters Hansel and Maki.

While Ball is recognized for her anime work, she is most widely known for her roles in western animation, particularly as the voices of Applejack and Rainbow Dash in the long-running series My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and its subsequent film and media franchise. Her voice acting also extends to series like Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures, where she voiced both the ghost Pinky and the character Aunt Spheria Suprema. In addition to her acting career, Ball is a musician and the lead singer and flautist for the Canadian indie pop rock band Hey Ocean!. She was also the subject of the 2014 documentary film A Brony Tale, which explored her experiences with the adult fan community of My Little Pony.
