Kumiko Okae, born August 23, 1956, was a Japanese actress, voice actress, and television presenter known for her extensive work in both live-action and animated productions. She began her professional acting career in 1975, making her debut in the titular role of the TBS drama Omitsu. Her career spanned several decades, during which she also became a familiar face on Japanese television as a co-host of the long-running morning information program Hanamaru Market from 1996 to 2014.

In the field of voice acting, Okae was known for several notable anime roles. She provided the voice of Elina in the 1997 animated film adaptation of The Dog of Flanders. For Studio Ghibli, she played the role of Naoko, the mother of the main character Haru, in the 2002 film The Cat Returns. Internationally, she is perhaps best recognized as the voice of Officer Jenny in the feature film Pokémon: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, released in 2005. In addition to her voice work, she also portrayed the character Ryouko Ayuhara in the 2005 live-action television series adaptation of the volleyball manga Attack No. 1.
