Andy Milder is an American actor born on August 16, 1969, in Omaha, Nebraska. He moved to Santa Monica, California, at a young age and later attended the University of California, Berkeley, where he majored in Economics before studying at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. Milder has built a substantial career spanning both on-camera and voice acting, appearing in films such as Apollo 13, Armageddon, Frost/Nixon, and the 2007 live-action Transformers film as the R&D Team Leader. In the realm of voice acting, Milder is best known for his role as Lightning Lad in the 2006 animated series Legion of Super Heroes. He also voiced the Golden Age Flash, Jay Garrick, in Batman: The Brave and the Bold. Within the Transformers franchise, beyond his live-action appearance, he provided the voice for the character Quillfire in the animated series Transformers: Robots in Disguise. His other voice work includes the role of Steven Spielberg in the 2020 reboot of Animaniacs and the character Ratso in the direct-to-video films The Brave Little Toaster to the Rescue and The Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars. Milder has also been a recurring cast member on several live-action television series, including Dean Hodes on Weeds and Lester Dawson on the Disney Channel series Austin & Ally.
