John Robinson is an American voice actor known for his extensive work in English dubs of anime, having started his career in the industry in 1997. His first role was in the series Golden Boy, produced at ADV Films. Since that debut, he has voiced characters for numerous studios and production houses, including Sentai Filmworks, Funimation, Rooster Teeth, ADV Films, Switchblade Films, Okratron 5000, Seraphim Digital, and Illumitoons.
Over his career, Robinson has portrayed a wide range of characters in hundreds of anime series and films. Some of his most notable roles include All for One in My Hero Academia, Kumatetsu (also referred to as The Beast) in The Boy and the Beast, Bols in Akame Ga Kill, the Undertaker in Black Butler, Gendo in the various iterations of Evangelion, Lord Death in Soul Eater, Hohenheim in Fullmetal Alchemist, Sir Crocodile in One Piece, Dodoria in Dragon Ball Z Kai, Hades in Fairy Tail, Zachary in Attack on Titan, Aramaki in Ghost in the Shell, Jinnouchi in Summer Wars, and El Rey in Nomad of Nowhere.
