Ryō Shimokawa is a Japanese male voice actor from Kumamoto Prefecture. Born on September 3rd, he is affiliated with the talent agency Accent. He is a graduate of the Kumamoto City General Business College and completed the Accent附属養成所 Shine program as a member of its 13th class.

Shimokawa has built a career providing voices for a wide range of Japanese dubs of foreign films and television series. One of his most recognized roles in this field is providing the Japanese voice for the character Ajakutty in the 2019 cyberpunk action film Alita: Battle Angel. His other notable dubbing credits include the lead role of Baby in Baby Driver, Frenchy in The Boys, Jonathan Larson in Tick, tick... Boom!, and Victor in the animated series Arcane.

Beyond dubbing, his animation work includes roles in several web anime series. In 2022, he voiced Reiter in Battle Spirits: Mirage and appeared as both a Trauma Team member and MAX-TAC officer in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. In 2024, he voiced various citizen and soldier characters in Sand Land: The Series. On television, he has had roles in the anime adaptations of Yo-kai Watch Shadowside and Fushigi Dagashiya Zenitendo.

Shimokawa has also contributed his voice to numerous video games. His video game portfolio includes roles in major titles such as Ghost of Tsushima, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Horizon Forbidden West, Final Fantasy XVI, and as V.VIII Pater in Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon. He has also appeared in the voice comic for the series Horeru Shonen as Katanaori Iori. His personal interests reportedly include playing soccer and driving.
