Mie Kataoka is a Japanese voice actress and actress from Kanagawa Prefecture. She was born on April 14, 1972, and is affiliated with the talent agency Kenyu Office. Her career began in 1979 as a child actress, and she has since worked extensively in dubbing foreign films and television series, as well as in anime and live-action Japanese television.

Kataoka's voice acting portfolio is heavily weighted toward dubbing, known in Japan as "fukikae." Her most prominent roles on the screen include providing the Japanese dub voice for Liz Parker on the science fiction series Roswell, Penny Nicholson on the long-running medical drama ER, and Cho-bi on the historical Korean drama Yi San. She also dubbed the character of Molly Hooper for the Japanese release of the modern Sherlock Holmes adaptation Sherlock. Her anime voice acting credits are comparatively fewer but include the role of Shika in the series Saiyuki RELOAD GUNLOCK and the character Michiko Dōdō in an episode of the long-running detective series Detective Conan.

In addition to her voice work, Kataoka has maintained a career as a live-action actress since childhood. She appeared as a child in television dramas such as the special effects series Uchuu Keiji Gavan and the film Electronic Warship Denziman. In 1986, she played the role of Mami Nitta in the live-action television series Sukeban Deka II: Shōjo Tekkamen Densetsu. She also took on the lead role of Ranko Taguchi in the TBS drama Chibikko Kaachan in 1983.
