Kazue Tsunogae was a Japanese actress whose career included work in film, television, and voice acting for anime. Her professional name in Japanese is most commonly written as 角替和枝. Tsunogae was born on October 21, 1954 in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. She died on October 27, 2018 in Tokyo at the age of 64.

She began her career in the entertainment industry as a voice actress in the 1980s before transitioning to work in live-action films and television dramas. Over the course of her career, she appeared in a wide range of productions across multiple genres.

One of her notable film roles was as Sudo in the 2000 horror film Ring 0: Birthday, a prequel to the acclaimed Japanese horror film Ring. In Ring 0, Tsunogae portrayed Mrs. Sudo, a former teacher of the central character Sadako Yamamura. The character is interviewed by a reporter who is investigating Sadako's past, explaining the psychological and supernatural forces that shaped the tragic figure.

Tsunogae was also known for her extensive work in Japanese television. She appeared in the popular drama The Witch's Condition in 1999, which is often cited as one of her early breakthrough roles. Her other television credits include the long-running police procedural series Aibou: Tokyo Detective Duo, where she had a recurring part, and the superhero tokusatsu series Kamen Rider Ryuki, in which she played the character of Sanako Kanzaki. In the legal comedy-drama Legal High 2, she appeared as Akiko Matsumatsu. She also guested as a landlord on the cooking drama Otoko Meshi in 2016.
