Takeshi Wakamatsu was a Japanese voice actor and actor born in Tokyo on July 2, 1950. He passed away on April 14, 2021 at the age of 70. He is sometimes credited under the alternative name of 若松武史.

Wakamatsu is known for several prominent roles in anime and film. He is recognized for the role of Yusaku Shigemori in the 2000 live-action horror film Ring 0: Birthday, which serves as a prequel to the Ring series. In the anime medium, he is known for his voice role as the scientist Jung Zorndyke in the original video animation (OVA) series Blue Submarine No. 6, which was released from 1998 to 2000. In Blue Submarine No. 6, his character Zorndyke is a central figure who raises the world's sea levels and creates genetically engineered hybrids. Another anime credit includes the role of Father Pedro Belenboza in the 2008 series Michiko & Hatchin.
