Tomoaki Nagae is a Japanese voice actor and actor born on July 15, 1953, in Nagasaki Prefecture. He is affiliated with the talent agency Iwabuchi Group and has been active in the entertainment industry since his stage debut in 1977 with the play Ame. Nagae is a graduate of the Theatre Echo training school, having previously been a member of both Theatre Echo and the now-disbanded agency Satsukisha.

Nagae is primarily known for his voice work in live-action superhero productions and foreign film dubbing. He performed the voice of Riderman, one of the classic Kamen Rider characters, in the 1980 theatrical film Kamen Rider: Hachi-nin Rider tai Ginga-oh. He also contributed voices to the Kamen Rider television series, specifically providing the voices for both X Rider and Riderman in Kamen Rider (Skyrider).

In the field of voice dubbing for international media, Nagae is recognized as the Japanese voice of the character Statler, the elderly heckler from The Muppets. He dubbed this role for the Japanese versions of The Muppet Christmas Carol and Muppet Treasure Island. He also provided voices in the Japanese dub of Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, taking on the dual roles of Sandy Claws and The Devil. His video game work includes voicing Santa Claus in Kingdom Hearts II. Beyond animated and dubbed roles, he has had minor live-action appearances in Japanese television dramas, including series such as Bloody Monday and Haru to Natsu.
