Takeru Shibaki
Description
Takeru Shibaki is a Japanese actor and voice actor born on June 27, 1982, in Tokyo, Japan. He has been active in the entertainment industry since 2000. While he is perhaps best known for his live-action role as Kai Samezu, also known as GaoBlue, in the Super Sentai series Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger, he has also performed voice work in film and video games.
In the 2000 live-action film Boogiepop and Others, which is based on the light novel series of the same name, Shibaki played the role of Kiyoshi Sakamoto. The following year, he reprised his character from Gaoranger in the feature film Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger: The Fire Mountain Roars. In 2003, he appeared as Shugo Urabe in the film Battle Royale II: Requiem. His other film credits include roles in Hirakata, Reflections in 2005, and Boku no Kanojo to sono Kareshi ~Drop In Ghost~ in 2007.
Beyond live-action film and television, Shibaki has contributed to the field of voice acting through work on video games. He provided the voice for the character Ull, also known as Ulf, in the role-playing game Grandia III.
