Fábio Villalonga was a Brazilian voice actor and dubbing director known for his extensive work in anime and animated series. Born Fábio Marcos Villalonga in São Paulo on February 13, 1956, he had an active career in dubbing from 1978 until his passing on October 29, 2017. His wife was fellow voice actress Cláudia Carli, and he also worked as a dubbing director at the Studio Gábia studio in Brazil.
In anime, Villalonga built a significant body of work over nearly four decades. One of his notable performances was providing the voice for the characters Takashi Yamamura and Okazaki in the Brazilian Portuguese dub of the film Ring, also known as Ringu. His other major anime roles included Mariti in Tenkū Senki Shurato, the villainous Dr. Z in both seasons of Dinosaur King, Choco in the film Tekkonkinkreet, and Kenji Dobashi in the basketball series Hoop Days. He also lent his voice to several major franchises, including Dragon Ball Z Kai as the second voice for Mr. Kaioh, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing as Abdul and Ahmad, the El-Hazard franchise as Katsuhiko Jinnai, and the Transformers universe as Tarantulas in Beast Wars: Transformers.
