Tom Edwards is a Canadian actor, playwright, and humorist known for his work as a voice actor for Blue Water Studios, a recording studio based in Calgary, Alberta. His career in the performing arts began with acting studies at Bishop Grandin High School in Calgary around 1976, and he later earned an undergraduate degree in drama from the University of Calgary. Beyond his voice work, Edwards has performed in numerous stage plays and is the owner of Demos 4 Dummies, a business that provides voice actors with comedy scripts for their demonstration reels.

Edwards is perhaps best recognized for his roles in English dubs of several prominent anime series, particularly within the Gundam franchise. He provided the voice for the dual role of Quattro Bajeena and the legendary Char Aznable in the English dub of Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. His work in the Gundam universe also includes the role of Kyral Mekirel, also known as The Birdman, in Mobile Fighter G Gundam. These performances are among his most frequently cited credits.

His other significant anime roles include Barda in the fantasy adventure series Deltora Quest. In the magical girl series Pretty Cure, Edwards voiced two antagonistic characters: the Dark King, who is the supreme ruler of the Dotsuku Zone and the primary villain of the series, as well as the recurring monster Zakennas. Additionally, he lent his voice to the character Phantom in Zoids: Chaotic Century and provided additional voices for the series Viper's Creed.
