Celeste Burch is the professional name used by American actress Petrea Celeste Burchard for her work in English-language anime dubbing. She is best known as the original English voice of the space pirate Ryoko Hakubi from the Tenchi Muyo! franchise, a role she has performed across numerous series, films, and specials. Her work in anime includes providing the voice for Ryoko in the original Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki OVA series, as well as the series Tenchi Muyo!, Tenchi Muyo! Mihoshi Special, and Tenchi Muyo! The Night Before The Carnival. She also voiced the character Miho Iwakura in the psychological anime series Serial Experiments Lain.

Beyond anime, Burchard has maintained a diverse acting career spanning stage, television, and film. Her acting training includes the study of Shakespeare with the Royal Shakespeare Company and at the Chicago Shakespeare Repertory. Her stage work includes performing the lead roles of Cleopatra in Antony and Cleopatra and Empress Tamora in Titus Andronicus. On television, she has made guest appearances on series such as ER, The West Wing, How I Met Your Mother, and The Young and the Restless. She also appeared in the 1992 film Death Becomes Her. In addition to acting, she is also a writer, having published a novel and a book of essays.
