Osman Ragheb was an Egyptian-born actor, voice actor, dialogue coach, and director who worked extensively in the German entertainment industry. Born on May 11, 1926, in Nablus, he was fluent in four languages: Arabic, French, English, and German. After studying chemistry in London and training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), he moved to Munich around 1960 to pursue acting. His career spanned over six decades and included numerous roles in film, television, and theater, as well as extensive work in dubbing.
In the realm of anime and animation dubbing, Ragheb is best known for his voice work in German-language versions of various productions. He provided the voice for Happosai in the Ranma ½ films, specifically in Ranma ½: Big Trouble in Nekonron, China and Ranma ½: Nihao My Concubine, dubbing over the original voice of Ichirō Nagai. He also contributed to the long-running One Piece franchise, voicing characters such as Kerojee in One Piece: Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island and Gonzo in One Piece: Karakuri Castle's Mecha Giant Soldier.
