Michel Lasorne

Description
Michel Lasorne is a French actor who has worked extensively in the field of dubbing, providing French voices for numerous characters in animated series and films. His career in animation voiceover is particularly noted for his work on Japanese anime series that were dubbed for French television audiences.

One of his prominent anime roles is Cherry, a diminutive, wise-cracking, tengu-like creature who serves as the father's assistant and a commentator on the romantic misadventures of the main characters in the series Urusei Yatsura, which was released in France under the title Lamu. In the culinary anime Mister Ajikko, known in French as Le Petit Chef, Lasorne voiced the main character, Mario, a young prodigy in the kitchen. His film work includes providing the voice for Lord Jaguar in the 1994 animated feature Dragon Ball Z: Bio-Broly, the eleventh film in the Dragon Ball Z series, which was dubbed into French at a later date.

Beyond these specific roles, Lasorne’s voice work in anime includes a variety of characters across different series. He contributed to the French version of Ken le Survivant (Fist of the North Star) for episodes forty-five and forty-six, and was the voice of Valentin in Gu Gu Ganmo for a set of replacement episodes. His other anime credits include roles in Dink le Petit Dinosaure (Dink, the Little Dinosaur) as Flapper, Detective Bogey as Rif, and Tobikage as Damien in the early episodes.

A notable recurring collaboration in Lasorne's dubbing career is with the animated series Futurama. He became the regular French voice for the character Kif Kroker, the perpetually exasperated and sensitive lieutenant to Captain Zapp Brannigan. Lasorne also voiced the murderous Robot Santa Claus in the same series. He reprised these roles for several of the series' direct-to-video films, including La Grande Aventure de Bender (Bender's Big Score) and Le Monstre au milliard de tentacules (The Beast with a Billion Backs).
