Randall Duk Kim is an American actor and voice artist born on September 24, 1943, in Honolulu, Hawaii. He has extensive experience across theater, film, and animation and is the co-founder of the American Players Theatre in Spring Green, Wisconsin. Kim has received an Obie Award for his stage work and has been nominated for an Outer Critics Circle Award. He is known for his broad classical repertoire and for performing the works of playwright Frank Chin. On screen, he is recognized by film audiences for his role as the Keymaker in The Matrix Reloaded.

In the realm of animation and voice acting, Kim is most famous for providing the voice of Master Oogway, the wise and elderly turtle, in the Kung Fu Panda franchise. He first voiced the character in the 2008 film Kung Fu Panda and reprised the role for its 2016 sequel, Kung Fu Panda 3, as well as several short films and a television series. Master Oogway serves as a mentor to the main character, Po, and his teacher, Shifu.

He has also performed voice work for video games. He voiced the character James Wong in the 2007 game Stranglehold and reprised his role as the Keymaker from The Matrix Reloaded for the 2003 video game Enter the Matrix. In 2022, he provided a voice for the animated series The Boys Presents: Diabolical.

Kim is also known for his role as Grandpa Gohan in the 2009 live-action film Dragonball: Evolution, which is based on the popular Dragon Ball anime and manga series. In this adaptation, he plays the adoptive grandfather and martial arts teacher of the protagonist, Goku.
