Sorosoro Tanigawa is a Japanese manga artist and anime director, recognized as the original creator of several manga series that have been adapted into short-form television anime. Tanigawa is known for originating works that blend slice-of-life scenarios with understated comedy, often focusing on the resilience of ordinary individuals.

Tanigawa first began posting manga on Twitter in 2015. The initial and most notable work from this effort was Taeko no Nichijō, a humorous four-panel comic about the daily life of Taeko Shinbō, a cheerful office lady who maintains a positive attitude through workplace troubles and everyday inconveniences. Following its online debut, the manga entered serialization in Sankei Living Shimbun's City Living magazine in 2016. Two compiled volumes of the manga were released, with the second volume published by DLE in November 2018.

The success of the web manga led to a short-form television anime adaptation. The first series of Taeko no Nichijō, consisting of 26 episodes approximately three minutes each, premiered on ABC TV and Tokyo MX in October 2019. Tanigawa served as both the original creator and the director of this anime production. A second television anime series followed, premiering on Tokyo MX in July 2020. This subsequent series, also directed by Tanigawa, comprised 132 one-minute episodes that continued the story of the office worker with a returning cast and production staff. Both anime adaptations were produced by the studio DLE in collaboration with ABC TV.

Beyond his work on Taeko no Nichijō, Tanigawa has been credited as the director for the 2016 television series PePePePengiin. He also served as the chief supervisor for the original net animation adaptation of Doomsday With My Dog, a series based on the manga by Yū Isihara. This ONA was produced by DLE and released on YouTube from August 2022 to February 2023.

Tanigawa's career illustrates a path from self-published web manga to professional serialization and subsequent anime production, a trajectory that underscores the role of social media in discovering new comedic voices in the Japanese comics industry. His artistic identity is characterized by minimalist character designs and a focus on short, gag-driven narratives that find warmth and humor in routine social interactions.
