John-Alexander Döring is a German voice actor known for his work in anime dubbing, primarily for the German-language market. He was born on October 2, 1979. Döring has been active as a voice actor since 1986, with a career spanning work in dubbing for films and television series, as well as voice-overs for commercials, audio plays, and audiobooks.

One of his notable early anime roles is providing the German voice for the character Ganzo in the 2000 film One Piece: The Movie. In this production, he voiced the young version of Ganzo. His work in the One Piece franchise extends to other entries, including voicing a character in One Piece: The Movie: Episode of Alabasta: The Desert Princess and the Pirates, released in 2007. He also contributed to One Piece: Episode of Chopper Plus: Bloom in Winter, Miracle Cherry Blossom from 2008.

Beyond One Piece, Döring has voiced characters in several other major anime series and films. He is known for the role of Soonansu in the Pokemon anime series, appearing in Pokemon Sun & Moon and Pokemon XY. He also voiced Denji in Pokemon Diamond & Pearl and various other characters across multiple iterations of the Pokemon franchise, including Wataru, Hazuki, and Chan Bruce. His other anime credits include Cisca Kanzaki in Starship Operators and Ian Narse in Heat Guy J. More recent work includes voice acting as Shamil Volkov in Dr. Stone: New World.

In addition to his anime roles, Döring has an extensive career dubbing live-action productions into German. He has provided German voices for actor Nick Jonas in various projects, including the television series Jonas, the films Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, and a guest appearance on Hannah Montana. He has also dubbed Cameron Bright as Alec in The Twilight Saga films New Moon and Eclipse. His other dubbing credits include roles in series such as Hawaii Five-0, Jessica Jones, The Punisher, and BoJack Horseman.
