Una Megurogawa is a Japanese manga artist and original creator, known for work that often combines historical figures with contemporary, lighthearted settings. Megurogawa is credited as the writer and illustrator of the manga Oda Cinnamon Nobunaga, which began serialization in Tokuma Shoten's seinen manga magazine Monthly Comic Zenon and its associated website, Web Comic Zenyon, in June 2014. This series became Megurogawa's most widely recognized work, running until October 2021 and compiled into ten tankōbon volumes.

The success of Oda Cinnamon Nobunaga led to its adaptation into a twelve-episode anime television series, which aired from January to March 2020. The anime was produced by Studio Signpost and broadcast on TV Tokyo and other networks. The series features a comedic premise where the legendary Japanese warlord Oda Nobunaga is reincarnated in the present day as a Shiba Inu dog named Cinnamon, joined by other historical samurai lords reborn as various dog breeds.

Following the conclusion of Oda Cinnamon Nobunaga, Megurogawa launched a new manga series titled Neko no Okite on the Web Comic Zenon website in June 2022. This series centers on an elderly woman who cares for cats that secretly possess the ability to walk upright and talk, bound by a code that forbids them from being discovered. In July 2024, Megurogawa began serializing another new work, Oedo Drawing Uncle Utakuni, also on the WEB Zenon editorial department platform. This story follows Utagawa Kuniyoshi, an ukiyo-e artist from the Edo period, who discovers a smartphone from the Reiwa era and begins posting on modern social media.

A recurring element in Megurogawa's work is the blending of historical or fantastical concepts with everyday modern life, often using animals as central characters to explore these juxtapositions in a comedic manner. This approach was central to the identity of Oda Cinnamon Nobunaga and continues in subsequent projects. The consistent publication of these works in Monthly Comic Zenon and its digital platform establishes a long-standing relationship with the publisher Coamix, formerly known as Tokuma Shoten. The anime adaptation of Oda Cinnamon Nobunaga remains a significant milestone in Megurogawa's career, marking the creator's work as a source for successful multimedia projects.
