Rick Piersall is an American voice actor primarily known for his work on English-language dubs of anime series, many of which were produced by ADV Films. Outside of voice acting, Piersall has a significant career as a classically trained baritone, serving as the Director of Opera and Associate Professor of Voice at Abilene Christian University. He has performed leading operatic roles with numerous companies and has been featured on the concert stage with orchestras such as the Houston Symphony.
As an anime voice actor, one of his credited roles is Gee in the series Papuwa. His other voice roles include Leo Aiola in Saint Seiya, Syunichi Ike in Gantz, Guen McNichol in Madlax, Morozof in Divergence Eve, and Mitsuhiro Uki in Maburaho. He provided additional voices for several notable series, including Elfen Lied, Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid, Kino's Journey, and the movie Slayers Movie 2: Return.
