Laurent Mantel

Description
Laurent Mantel is a French comedian and voice actor who has worked extensively in dubbing for over twenty-five years. He trained in theater at the Théâtre des Quartiers d'Ivry under Philippe Adrien before expanding into television, radio, and voice-over work. His career includes work as an author and director for radio, as well as a stage and television actor.

Within anime, Mantel has contributed to several series and films. He performed the role of Aquila in both Great Mazinger tai Getter Robo and Great Mazinger tai Getter Robo G - Kūchū Dai-Gekitotsu. In the series B't X, he voiced multiple characters including B't Raidoh, Le jongleur, Marchello, Shadow, Kamiya, Mira, Mislim, Balzac, and Dr Zaji. He also played the role of Iruga, and Zephyrus, in Ragnarok The Animation.

Beyond animation, his dubbing work spans many American television series. He voiced Storm Logan in the soap opera Amour, Gloire et Beauté (The Bold and the Beautiful), Cooper Alden in Loving, and Michael Brooks in American Dreams. His other voice credits include roles in The Walking Dead, The Sopranos, NCIS, CSI New York, Brothers & Sisters, Law & Order, and The Closer.

In addition to performance, Mantel has worked as an audio describer for visually impaired audiences since 2002. He has adapted and recorded over four hundred feature films, television series, animated programs, and theatrical plays for organizations including the Association Valentin Haüy. He has also worked as a trainer for voice-over professionals and as a writing instructor for audio description. His recorded work includes poetry, such as Briseurs d'entraves featuring poems by Aimé Césaire, René Depestre, and Léopold Sédar Senghor.
