Alison Retzloff

Alison Retzloff is an American voice actress known for her work on English-language dubs of Japanese anime. She is also known professionally by her married name, Alison Viktorin. She was born on February 1, 1981, and began her career in the anime industry in 2004.
Retzloff made her voice acting debut in the series Kiddy Grade, providing the voice for the character Viola. Her first major starring role came shortly after when she was cast as the protagonist Conan Edogawa in the English dub of the long-running detective series Case Closed. She voiced Conan Edogawa for several years across the main television series, numerous films such as Case Closed: The Time Bombed Skyscraper and Case Closed: The Fourteenth Target, and various specials and video games. The character of Conan Edogawa remains her most recognized role.
Throughout her career, Retzloff accumulated a wide range of other significant anime voice credits. In 2005, she voiced Amy in the series Burst Angel. She portrayed Kuroko Shirai in the A Certain Magical Index and A Certain Scientific Railgun series. Her other notable roles include Kobato Hasegawa in Haganai, QT in Space Dandy, Gasper Vladi in High School DxD, Naru Kotoishi in Barakamon, and the young Kyo Soma in the 2019 reboot of Fruits Basket. She also contributed to the films Summer Wars and Wolf Children, playing Shingo Jinnouchi and a young Ame respectively.
Retzloff was active as a voice actor from 2004 until her retirement in 2021. Her later work was credited under the name Alison Viktorin. Following her retirement, many of her roles were recast, including the part of Conan Edogawa, which was taken over by voice actress Wendee Lee.
