Matthew Yang King, often credited as Matt Yang King, is an American voice actor who has built an extensive career in animation, video games, and anime dubbing. He graduated with a BFA from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and began his performance career in live theatre, including time with the first national touring company of the musical Titanic, before relocating to Los Angeles to pursue on-screen and voiceover work.

In the realm of anime and Japanese animation, King is recognized for his contributions to several notable English dubs. He voices the role of Taeko's Father in the 2016 English dub of the Studio Ghibli film Only Yesterday. Within the Baki franchise, he has provided the voices for two distinct characters: Kureha Shinogi, a skilled surgeon and fighter known as the Super Doctor, and Mitsunari Tokugawa, the chairman of the Underground Arena who organizes many of the series' martial arts tournaments. Beyond these specific titles, his anime-related voice work includes the character Eian in Batman Ninja and Koketsu in Bright: Samurai Soul. He also had an early role in the English dub of Naruto, voicing the character Sumaru.

King's voice acting portfolio extends far beyond Japanese animation. He is a prolific performer in major video game franchises, most notably as the voice of Liu Kang in Mortal Kombat 11 and Mortal Kombat 1, as well as Fujin and Kung Lao in other installments of the series. He voices Illidan Stormrage in the World of Warcraft franchise. His work in games also includes Kerry Eurodyne in Cyberpunk 2077, The Atom in Injustice 2, Thomas Southerland in Death Stranding, and Verge in XCOM: Chimera Squad. In western animation, he had a recurring role as Nicky Tunnel Rat Lee in G.I. Joe: Renegades, a performance that earned him a nomination for a BVTVA Television Voice Acting Award. He has also voiced characters in Transformers: Robots in Disguise, Supah Ninjas, and the acclaimed Netflix animated anthology series Love, Death & Robots.

In addition to his performance career, King works as a writer, director, and producer. He created the steampunk-themed web series The World of Steam, which was successfully crowdfunded, and has served as a judge on the reality competition series Steampunkd. He is also the co-creator of the animated project Goblins Animated.
