Rebecca Honig

Rebecca Honig is an American voice actress who was active in the English-language dubbing industry, particularly during the 2000s. Her career was closely associated with the New York-based studios 4Kids Entertainment and Central Park Media, for which she provided voices for a range of anime series and video games. She also worked under several other professional names, including Rebecca Miriam, Becca, Rebecca Handler, and Margeaux Hartman.

Honig is perhaps best known for her extensive work within the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Specifically, she is recognized as the voice of the character Cream the Rabbit in the anime series Sonic X and in numerous major video game titles from 2005 to 2010. Her video game credits in this role include Sonic Rush, Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic Riders, and various entries in the Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games series. Within the Sonic franchise, she also provided the voices for other associated characters such as Creams mother, Vanilla the Rabbit, the Chao companion Cheese, as well as Tikal and Maria Robotnik.

Beyond her prominent role in Sonic, Honig contributed to the English adaptations of many other anime series. Two notable examples include the role of Ruby in the science fiction series Gall Force: New Era and the character Ruriko Sakuragasaki in Arcade Gamer Fubuki. Her other anime voice roles include Midori in the OVA Ichi the Killer: Episode Zero, Lulara Kawasaki in DNA2, and Sayaka in Mask of Zeguy. She also provided additional voices for the 4Kids dubs of long-running series such as One Piece and various iterations of Pokémon. Her career in voice acting appears to have concluded around 2010, with her final known roles being in the Sonic video game series.
