Ariadna Rivas

Ariadna Rivas is a Mexican voice actress and dubbing director. She began her career in voice work in 1968 at the age of six, starting under the guidance of her father, the noted dubbing actor and announcer Fernando Rivas Salazar. Her early work included participation in a series called La Pandilla. In the early 1980s, she traveled to Los Angeles, California, to work on the dubbing for a series titled Los osos revoltosos.

Throughout her career, Rivas has provided Spanish-language voices for a wide range of characters in films, television series, and anime. Among her notable anime roles is Noah Kaiba in Yu-Gi-Oh! during the virtual world story arc. Her other prominent voice roles include Gadget Hackwrench in the Disney series Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, Number 5 (Abigail Olivera) in the Cartoon Network series KND: Los chicos del barrio (Codename: Kids Next Door), the first voice of Gigi in the anime Las aventuras de Gigi, and Peter Shepherd in the film Jumanji and its subsequent animated series. In live-action dubbing, she is recognized as the original voice of Vada Sultenfuss in the films My Girl (Mi primer beso) and its sequel My Girl 2 (Mi primer beso 2).

Rivas has worked with numerous dubbing companies over the years, including Estrellita (Grabaciones y Doblajes S.A.), where she began, as well as ESM, Rivatón de América, Taxqueña (CLADSA), Sonomex, Servicio Internacional de Sonido, Telespeciales, S.A., Audiomaster 3000, and Sensaciones Sónicas. Since approximately 2015, she has been temporarily unable to work in voice dubbing due to a condition of dysphonia in her vocal cords.
