Lance Reddick was an American actor whose deep, commanding voice made him a memorable presence in animated series and video games. In the realm of anime and adult animation, he is known for bringing gravitas to a range of characters, including the role of the Captain in the Netflix series Castlevania.

Beyond Castlevania, Reddick's voice acting career included several significant roles in animated productions. He voiced Thordak the Cinder King, the leader of the destructive Chroma Conclave, in the second season of the Amazon Prime Video series The Legend of Vox Machina.
