Tony Amendola is an American actor who has contributed to the anime series Castlevania as a voice actor. Born on August 24, 1951, Amendola began his professional career in theatre, spending his first twelve years performing almost exclusively on stage in various regional and Off-Broadway productions. This foundation in classical theatre informed his distinctive vocal presence, often cast in roles that require authority and wisdom.

In the realm of animation, Amendola is best known for his role in the Netflix animated series Castlevania, which is based on the Japanese video game franchise. He provided the English voice for the character known as The Elder in the first season of the series, which premiered in 2017. The Elder is the leader of the Speakers and the grandfather of the character Sypha Belnades. Amendola later reprised his role as The Elder for the sequel series, Castlevania: Nocturne, in 2023.
