Rodolfo Traversa is an Italian actor and voice actor known for his extensive work in dubbing live-action films and animated series. He began his career as a stage actor in 1962 before moving to Rome in 1972, where he became a member of the prestigious dubbing company C.V.D.. Among his most notable dubbing roles is the voice of C-3PO, the gold-plated droid portrayed by Anthony Daniels, in the original Star Wars trilogy. Outside of his film work, his contributions to the anime genre include several key voice roles in Italian-language dubs of Japanese animated series and films.

In the 2017 anime film Mazinger Z: Infinity, Traversa provides the Italian voice for the character Gennosuke Yumi. Gennosuke is the director of the Photon Power Laboratory and the father of series co-protagonist Sayaka Yumi, representing a supporting but significant role in the Mazinger franchise. His other credits in anime and animation include providing the voice for the character Skeletor in the second season of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and in She-Ra: Princess of Power, as well as voicing Boss Artiglio in an early dubbing of Inspector Gadget. He also voiced the character Kongming in the series Getter Robot Arc. His career as a voice actor spans several decades and includes work across multiple genres, though his anime-specific roles are a part of a larger body of work that primarily focused on live-action film and television dubbing.
