Akron Watson is an American actor, singer, and voice artist known for his work across Broadway, television, film, and anime voice-over. He was born on May 17, 1983, and is a native of Dallas, Texas. His career includes significant achievements in theater, where he has appeared on Broadway three times, notably as a cast member in The Color Purple Revival, a production for which he won a Tony, Grammy, and Emmy. He has also performed in the Broadway productions of The Play That Goes Wrong and as Aaron Burr in Hamilton.
