Mana Shimizu is a Japanese voice actor known for her work in anime, video games, and radio. She was born on December 19, 1989, and is a native of Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. She is affiliated with the talent agency Vi-vo.
Shimizu began her voice acting career in 2012, landing minor roles in several television anime series. Her early work included playing a female student in The Pet Girl of Sakurasou and a schoolmate in the series Nakaimo - My Sister Is Among Them!. The following year, 2013, was a significant period for her as she secured roles in multiple notable series, including Kin-iro Mosaic, The Severing Crime Edge, and Love Live! School Idol Project's second season.
Her most prominent and recognized role came in 2013 when she was cast as Fumi Hasegawa in the comedy anime Yuyushiki. Fumi is a supporting character in the series, which follows the daily lives of three girls in their school's Data Processing Club. Her performance as the shy and often bewildered Fumi brought the character to life and became a signature role in her career. She reprised this character for the Yuyushiki original video animation (OVA) released in 2017 and for the mobile game Kirara Fantasia, which launched the same year.
Beyond her work on Yuyushiki, Shimizu has contributed to several other anime series. Her film credits include a role in the 2014 animated movie Pretty Rhythm All-Star Selection: Prism Show Best Ten. Her other television animation work includes voicing a child in the long-running series Doraemon in 2018.
Shimizu has also been active in the field of character songs, performing tracks related to her role in Yuyushiki.
