Héctor Miranda

Héctor Miranda was a Mexican dubbing actor and announcer known for his extensive work in animation and live-action dubbing. Born on May 9, 1961, his career spanned numerous projects until his passing on June 3, 2018. As an actor of voiceover for the Latin American Spanish dubbing market, Miranda voiced characters across a wide range of genres, including a notable body of work in anime.
In the field of anime, Miranda is recognized for the role of Oliver in the acclaimed series Violet Evergarden. His additional anime credits include playing Gray in Pokémon XY, Professor Yasunaga and other voices in Kenichi the Mightiest Disciple, Tatsuta in an episode of Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, and a Galactic Poacher in Dragon Ball Super. He also contributed additional voices to several other anime series, such as Trigun, The Seven Deadly Sins, Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V, and Saga of Tanya the Evil.
Beyond his anime work, Miranda had a prolific career in animation dubbing. He was the second voice actor for the character Cam Tucker in the series Modern Family and became the official voice for Jaimito the Postman in the animated series El Chavo, starting from season six.
