Saima Nakano is a Japanese voice actress and narrator affiliated with the talent agency Stay Luck. She was born on November 26, 1993, in the city of Ageo, located in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. Nakano comes from a multicultural background, being of both Egyptian and Japanese heritage, and is the second of two daughters in her family.
Nakano's interest in performance began at an early age when she joined a theater company during her elementary school years. This early experience on stage led her to pursue a career in voice acting, prompting her to enroll in the anime song course at the Yoyogi Animation Academy in Tokyo. Her professional debut came remarkably early; while still in her first year at the academy, she landed the role of the heroine, Miyuki Satō, in the anime series Ishida and Asakura.
While still a student, Nakano joined the agency Sony Music Artists. During this period, she expanded her career beyond voice work by performing at various anime events in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Malaysia, where she also showcased her singing abilities. A significant early role was that of Shōko Iwagami in the mecha anime series Aquarion Logos. For this series, she not only voiced the character but also performed the second cour insert song, demonstrating her vocal range. In 2018, Nakano left Sony Music Artists, and the following year, she became a talent at her current agency, Stay Luck.
